Monomers and Polymers

A Polymer is a giant molecule formed by inter molecular linkage between same or different types of smaller molecules called monomers. For example, polyethene is a polymer of the monomer ethylene.

Polymer is a high molecular mass molecule formed by linking up of two or more small molecules called monomers.

Monomers are the small molecule which are capable of linking among themselves to form big molecules called polymers.
